This is the Albanian soprano Inva Mula-Tchako’s haunting rendition of "Il dolce suono", the opening aria of the famous "mad scene" from the opera "Lucia di Lammermoor" by the Italian composer "Gaetano Donizetti". This recording is also the first part of the "Diva Dance", used in the soundtrack of the 1997 film "The Fifth Element".
