We have a RDC connection that locks out the user after 60 seconds of use. I sit about 5 metres away from the machine and need to monitor looooooooong and slooooow uploads. It was a pain having to get up every few minutes so with a little bit of inginuity The Hand of Slob evolved... The mobile phone’s music player (or ringtone for remote usage!) triggers the sound activated robot hand which moves the mouse attached to it and therefore ensures the screen never times out! ... hand of slob ...
