iReport — Tonight is the longest shopping time in Iceland.Shops are open to the late hours .And everybody goes downtown,and shop,enjoy the music that is all over Reykjavik.I went tonight and took a little part in it ,and enjoyed the Three Tenors in Reykjavik ,and also a group that is called - 3 Voices and Beatur -That is a Acapella group ,and they where walking with the amplifier and singing for people in downtown Reykjavik.The temperature is minus 5 on the celcius and windy ,but that does not stop us from going to have a festive evening.I took video the singing and it was great to listen to this great music --Hope you like it tooGreetings from Iceland - and Happy holidays to you all.

From the early hours of the morning people began gathering at Modena's cathedral to pay their last respects to their beloved opera star Luciano Pavarotti. Local residents signed a book of condolence outside the cathedral. As the morning progressed, hundreds of people were lining up to file past the coffin of the opera star. Luciano Pavarotti died on Thursday after a struggle against cancer. His body will lie in state ahead of his funeral at the cathedral on Saturday afternoon. Thousands of Luciano Pavarotti's grieving fans including rock stars and world statesmen attended the tenor's funeral in Modena, Italy. The imposing opera star, whose voice touched millions, died of cancer on Thursday at the age of 71. His funeral took place in the 12th century cathedral in the historic centre of his home town in north-eastern Italy. U2 front man Bono as well as the former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan were in attendance. Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi and other government officials were also present. Blind Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli sang at the event; Pavarotti will be laid to rest at the Montale Rangone cemetery near his villa outside of town, where his parents and his stillborn son Riccardo are buried.
