(India) Not all Indian singers lip synch for Bollywood actresses. Sona Mohapatra’s first CD ‘Sona’ swept all music awards in the non-film music category in the year 2007 in India. Although she has trained in Hindustani singing technique, her musical influences are diverse, and she fronts her own electric band that combines Romani, funk, sufi and filmi music. "Ishq Nachaya" is a setting of a poem by the sufi saint Baba Bulle Shah. "Tere Ishq nachaya " means 'your love makes me dance, losing myself. ' The lyric suggested the use of various dancers, and the video is a showcase of several different dance forms from across India. Mian Muhammed Baksh, was born in a village called khanqa Peera Shah Gazi Khari Sharif, situated in the Mirpur District (now in Azad Kashmir) and was a Sufi Saint and also a Punjabi poet of great repute. He is especially renowned as the writer of a book of poetry called Saif Ul Malook. His works include: Siharfi, Sohni Mahival, Tuhfah-e Miran, Tuhfah-e Rasuliyah, Shirin Farhad, Mirza Sahiban, Sakhi Khavass Khan, Shah Mansur, Gulzar-e Faqir, Hidayatul Muslimin, Panj Ganj, Masnavi-e Nirang-e Ishq. He also wrote a commentary on the Arabic Qasidat-ul-Burda of Al-Busiri and his most famous work, entitled Safar-Ul Ishq (The Journey of Ardent Love) and better known as Saif Ul Malook is presented here, read by the legendary Shaukat Ali.

This national Road Tour will travel to more than 800 communities in the nation to encourage everyone to complete and return the census form this March. The Road Tour will inform participants about the 2010 Census and the positive impact their participation can have on their local communities. In addition, the 13-vehicle Road Tour will: · Travel more than 150,000 miles across the country · Participate in more than 800 events · Reach an estimated 18 million people · Encourage participants to share their stories, creating the 2010 Census Portrait of America project that will live on 2010census.gov · Engage millions of viewers online through social media, including Twitter, Facebook and Flickr The census is taken only once every ten years and has a direct impact on everyone in the country. Census data are used to apportion seats in Congress, and directly affect how more than $400 billion per year in federal funding is distributed to state, local and tribal governments. About $85 million is saved for every one percentage point increase in the number of forms mailed back as fewer census workers will be needed to make personal visits to homes that did not respond by mail.
