Legendary radio broadcaster Gary LaPierre is retiring after 42 years on the job. LaPierre joined WBZ as a reporter in 1964. He moved over to the anchor desk two years later and has broadcasted the morning news each weekday on WBZ NewsRadio 1030 since 1966.
