This reel shows a cross section of selected Motion Graphics, Animation and Compositing work I’ve done over the last decade. The vast majority of the video presented has been my compositing work alone and where it is not I had a significant contribution in it's creation. And, although I dabble in lots of software, my weapons of choice have primarily been Photoshop and After Effects, the latter of which I've taught on a freelance basis. On the 3D side I have used Cinema 4D for Motion Graphics and also comped large quantities of Lightwave CGI passes. williamjmjbates@yahoo.co.uk ]]>

This is a reel of my Motion Graphics and 3D work. All of the content in this reel was created by myself. Everything was created and animated using either Adobe After Effects or Cinema 4D with some help from Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. This reel was cut together using Final Cut Pro.

In this tutorial I show you how to transform the Indy Mogul logo from a sticker into a 3D object. I use Photoshop, Illustrator and Cinema 4D to achieve the effect. This technique can be used to transform most 2D images into 3D objects without painfully having to recreate or trace the image.
