THEY BELIEVE SHE LEFT WITH A 53- YEAR-OLD MAN WHOM SHE HAS KNOWN FOR A LONG TIME... BUT THAT MAN HAS A RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST HIM... SAYING HE CAN'T COME ANYWHERE NEAR HER. WHEN THE GIRL LATER RETURNED, HER MOTHER FILED A RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST BIRNER WHICH SAID HE HAD TO STAY AWAY FROM THE GIRL. DEPUTIES THINK SHE CONTACTED BIRNER LAST NIGHT AND THAT HE MAY HAVE DRIVEN ALL THE WAY FROM NEVADA TO PICK HER UP THIS MORNING. HERE'S A DESCRIPTION OF THE TRUCK THEY ARE IN. IT'S A 2007 WHITE DODGE DUALLY MEGA CAB — MEANING IT HAS FOUR DOORS. IT HAS A NEW MEXICO BALLOON LICENSE PLATE OF J-C-N 0-9-8. IF IT'S SPOTTED YOU ARE ASKED TO CALL THE POLICE IN YOUR AREA... UNDERGOING PHYSICAL THERAPY.// NEW MEXICO IS JOINING 25 OTHER STATES TRYING TO BAN VIOLENT VIDEOS OF ANIMAL ABUSE. THE U-S SUPREME COURT HAS AGREED TO HEAR ARGUMENTS ABOUT WHETHER BANNING SUCH VIDEOS VIOLATES PEOPLE’S FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS. CRIS ORNELAS IS HERE WITH WHAT NEW MEXICO'S ATTORNEY GENERAL IS DOING TO TRY TO GET THE VIDEOS OUTLAWED. THIS ALL STEMS BACK TO A PENNSYLVANIA MAN WHO WAS CONVICTED FOR MAKING AND SELLING VIDEOS OF DOGFIGHTS. HE APPEALED HIS CONVICTION AND AN APPEALS COURT JUDGE TOOK HIS SIDE. THE JUDGE THERE RULED THAT THE VIDEOS ARE FREE SPEECH AND ARE PROTECTED UNDER THE CONSTITUTION.
