Chitraloka Mega Portal which has already become Kannada film industry's premier portal has many big achievements in its eight years of existence which has made it the most popular film websites in the country. Already Chitraloka's many browser friendly features have been much appreciated by the Kannada film fans in India and Abroad which has made it the most visited website in the world. Recently Chitraloka was given another big recognition in the form of an entry in the book of the Limca Book of Records. The website's photo exhibition at which was held at Bangalore Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce building featuring the stills of all the Kannada films featured so far has been recognised by the Limca Book of Awards. Now, Chitraloka Portal is making inroads to another untouched territory. It will screen Kannada films. To coincide with the Suvaran Karnataka year, the Portal will be screening the Dr. Raj Kumar-Bharathi starrer folklore venture Rajadurgadha Rahasya on the Rajyothsava day (November 1) this year. This is a unique achievement which facilitates many Kannada film lovers in India and Abroad who have not seen the film to get an opportunity to see the film. No other Kannada film website has offered this facility to its loyal browsers.

chitraloka photo exhibition - ETV Kannada coverage

In 2006 August Chitraloka.com organised a photo exhibition of the stills of Kannada films that has been released starting from Sathi Sulochana released in 1934 to August 11 2006 released films in the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce which elicited a huge response and won lot of laurels for the mega portal. The occasion was Suvarna Karnataka year and the Kannada film industry had completed 72 years of its existence.Now, the portal gets another golden feather in its camp as Limca Book of Records has recognized this feat and has included the achievement in the list that is to be published in 2008 edition under Cinema Chapter.We thank all the channels, newspaper for giving wonderful coverage for chitraloka Photo Exhibition. Chitraloka is giving this video clip which was telectased in ETV Kannada.
