Dara Ó Briain (born 4 February 1972) is an award-winning Irish comedian and television presenter, currently most famous for hosting topical panel show Mock the Week, alongside regulars Andy Parsons, Hugh Dennis, Russel Howard and Frankie Boyle (whom he has referred to as 'The Dark Heart of Mock the Week'). Ó Briain was born in Wicklow and attended Coláiste Eoin, a Gaelscoil on Dublin’s southside. He attended college in University College, Dublin, where he studied maths and theoretical physics.
