From DVD, filmed at VOLUNTEER JAM II Sept.9,1975,Murfreesboro,TN. The lineup was (for most people the so-called "classic" outfit in the 70's): Charlie Daniels-voc,g,fiddle~Tom Crain-g,voc~Joel "Taz" DeGregorio-kb,voc~Charly Hayward-b~Fred Edwards-dr~Don Murray-dr. The show featured also partly all members of the Marshall Tucker Band, also guest appearances by Jimmy Hall of Wet Willie, Dru Lombar of Grinderswitch, Dickey Betts & Chuck Leavell of the Allman Bros and others. I want to share some songs from that historic event as a tribute to all these great artists who have already left us-Toy & Tommy Caldwell, George McCorkle, Dru Lombar. Thank you for the music, so RIP and roll on in heaven.
