Tedna Ve is Cornish Language for "Draw Me", as such the installation is a camera obscura built by Jonathan Polkest for the express purpose of portrature. There are many Camera Obscura’s in seaside towns for live panoramic landscape views, the Tedna Ve is specifically for portraiture. Jonathan Polkest is an artist from the Isles of Scilly who embraces community art as well as painting, drawing, printmaking, installation and photographic techniques. The activity of collaborating to make portrait drawings aims to bond participants whilst enabling all standards of drafting proficiencey to produce individual portraits in an acceptably rapid fashion in an intriguing range of styles. jonathan_polkest@hotmail.com
