This video was taken during a photo tour at Turpentine Creek sometime between the early Spring of 2004 and the mid fall of 2007. Turpentine Creek does not buy, sell or breed their cats. You should NEVER support any facility calling themselves a sanctuary if they do. Real sanctuaries do not buy, sell or breed. All cats deserve to be in large habitat yards and not cages. Funds raised from photo tours at TCWR goes toward building more habitat yards in an effort to get all cats out of cages and into habitat yards. Big cats should NEVER be pets, should never be used in performing acts such as circuses or magic shows, please do not pay to see such acts. If you pay to see such acts you are jsut as guilty of the cruelty toward those performing animals as are those inflicting the cruelty. You should not support unaccredited "roadside wanna be zoos" either as they do not adhere to high standards of care for the animals nor high standards of safety the animals, staff and public. Proper sanctuaries are over full and bursting at the seams with former pets, former performers, throw away, unwanted, discarded big cats. If you are not part of the solution to end the causes that create these unwanted, abused and abandoned animals, then you are supporting the root of the problem. The practices that cause so many wild animals to need sanctuary are not going to stop unless the public learns to stop supporting and ignoring the causes.

http://www.PetRescuebyJudy.comImagine an all-breed dog and cat rescue where no adoptable pet is euthanized.Judy Sarullo, an animal rescuer in Central Florida for over 15 years, lost her kennel 18 months ago due to a zoning issue. Since then she has had to rely on a network of foster homes and dedicated volunteers. Despite these limitations, she finds homes for over 1,500 cats and dogs a year. Now, however, she is facing a new threat that may mean the demise of this vital Central Florida resource. Orange County Code Enforcement found her in violation of code and gave her six months to come into compliance or face fines of $250/day. Since Code Enforcement will not tell her in what way she is "out of compliance" this essentially means Judy has to move or shut down her rescue! While Orange County continues to harrass Judy, Seminole County and its cities have passed resolutions of support! Judy is searching for a small parcel of land in Seminole, zoned for industrial use, that has power and water to it and can be fenced! More importantly, she wants to relocate to an area whose community will welcome her and her cause. For those of you who are against euthanasia, against the "catch and kill" cycle of some pounds, and against gassing shelters, please know that Judy has saved many dogs and cats from these situations. Many organizations have rescued animals from gassing shelters and transported animals directly to Judy's rescue, who are then placed in the loving homes of her foster families, until adoptions are made.Judy's contributions to the community have been profound, not only to the animals she has saved, but to the families that have adopted her animals, who have found their forever pet. Please join us by commenting on this video so we can design a plan that works for all.To date, Pet Rescue by Judy has rescued, dalmations, pugs, dobermans, chows, pit bulls, mixed breeds, old english sheep dogs, border collie mixes, terriers, bearded collies, Shih Tzus, Chihuahuas, Cocker Spaniels, Great Danes, Labrador Retrievers, Mastiffs, Dashchunds, Yorkshire Terriers, Cairne Terriers, Rat Terriers, Pomeranians, Puggles, Cockapoos, Poodles, Wired Hair Terriers, St. Bernards, Swiss Mountain Dogs,Greyhounds, labadoodles, Akitas, Huskies, Coonhounds, Bulldogs, American Eskimos, Foxhounds, Staffordshire Terriers, Water Spaniels, Australian Cattle dogs, Australian Shepherds, Basenjis, Beagles, Tervurens, Pointers, Bernese Mountain dogs, Bichon Frise, Bloodhounds, Boston Terriers, Boxers, Bouvier des Flanders, Brittany Spaniels, Corgis, Chinese Crested, Chow Chows, Dandie Dinmont Terriers, Setters, Spitz, Schnauzers, Gordon Setters, Great Pyrenees, Griffons, Havanese, Hounds, Irish Wolfhounds, Italian Greyhounds, Jack Russells, Japanese Chin Spaniels, Keeshonds, King Charles Spaniels, Heelers, Lhasa Apsos, Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dogs, Maltese, Manchester Terriers, MinPins, Miniature Pinschers, Newfoundlands, Norfolk Terriers, Norwegian Elkhounds, Norwich Terriers, Papillons, Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Rottweilers, Samoyeds, Schipperkes, Scottish Terriers, Shar-Peis Shiba Inu, Siberian Huskies, Silky Terriers, Standard Poodles, Whippets, Wiredhaired Fox Terriers,....

Video shows some of the world's largest, most powerful, strongest, and rarest cats. Also shows cat stalking prey, killing, and eating it. Although cats are top predators, they are the most delicate animals in the ecosystem. They become extinct the most quickly, because they live off the fat of the land. The Amur (Panthera tigris altaica) also called the Siberian Tiger, shown here, is the world's largest cat. It has an average weight of around 500 lb for males, but can reach around 600-675 lb and possibly up to 845 lb. Probably less than 500 exist in the wild. Nine subspecies of tiger exist, 3 of which are extinct. The Amur is the largest and now confined in the wild to an area in Siberia. They can be a long as a car, have huge dagar-like canine teeth, and thick fur of a golden hue. The white tiger can be very inbred. The range of the lion (Panthera leo) once extended across Africa and into Asia. Many are critically endangered, as is the white lion. Males can weight up to 550 lb. and they are the second largest cat after the tiger. A critically endangered remnant population exists in northwest India. The lion was once the most widespread large land mammal other than humans. The puma, jaguar, and bobcat are found in the Americas. The pallas' cat (Otocolobus manul) lived in Central Asia. It has several odd features, including round eye pupils and unusually thick fur. Because it has a flat face, people once thought that it was the ancestor of the Persion cat. All cats are carnivores. The domestic house cat shows the same traits as all other cats. Here one is shown stalking a much larger animal, which is somewhat cautious (whitetail deer). They may eat their prey alive. In this case as is usual, the cat broke the prey's back. Thus, it can't escape or fight. Cats may be quite fastidious eaters. One cat here used to eat an entire mouse, but would very delicately surgically cut out the gall bladder and not eat it. It appeared that this mouse was pregnant and the cat did not eat the embryos. Perhaps they were unfamiliar to the cat.
