Before she died at the tender age of 33, Eva was unknown outside Washington, USA but within 2 years, was discovered by Terry Wogan who promoted her music to the top of the album charts in the UK and now Europe, Australia and throughout the World. A talented and world-class Cast of Actors and Musicians recreate her original arrangements and recordings which have received accolades from Mick Fleetwood and Sting and tributes from Nora Jones, Katie Melua and Chris De Burgh. This Show pays a genuine and heartfelt tribute to a true Artist who was not interested in fame and fortune, but wanted nothing more than to create beautiful music. I admit this is a hard song to sing but to me, this version by Eva Cassidy is perfection if ever there is perfection. I don’t believe anyone can sing this song as beautifully and with as much sincere emotion as Eva. A note I wish to add on Nov1, 2007, for those who do not know, tomorrow Nov 2, 2007 is the 11th anniversary of Eva Cassidy's death 11 years ago.
