Vocalist Janice Pendarvis performed my arrangement of Curtis Mayfield’s 'Fool For You' for the Black Rock Coalitions' tribute to the music of the legendary songwriter @ Joe's Pub in NYC. The BRC Orchestra featured an all-star cast of musicians including: Vernon Reid (gtr), Ron Monroe (bs), Kevin Harrington (drms), Gary Fritz (perc), Billy (Spaceman) Patterson (gtr & voc), Marlene Rice (violin) & (Me) Gene Williams (keys/music director). Marlene's Blazing violin solo definitely took it higher! ...
