David J - Vocal Pugilist - David's career in the field of rap and poetry stretches back to 1992 when he won the Choice FM Battle Rap Competition - back then Eminem was still learning nursery rhymes. Over the years he has developed a unique style of delivery that is heavily influenced by his hip-hop origins. Sometimes his voice seems to go forwards then flip backwards like some tricky verbal gymnast, at other times he's scratching words instead of vinyl. Often it seems there is more than one person speaking on stage. He has performed widely and has taught in vocal workshops at schools and community centres around London. David is an elusive character and it wasn't easy to track him down but we're so glad that we did and know that he'll impress you.

A socially aware poetry goddess, like Wendy Cope. She writes mainly for her cat Harold but her work also appeals to people. Rachel believes that poems are like Green Shield stamps - if you collect enough you can get a saucepan!Aren't metaphors great? Rachel co-hosts "Taking The Mike", a regular open-mic poetry night at Collier's Wood.

The renowned multi-instrumentalist and sitar maestro will be performing a series of light classical Indian compositions with tabla accompaniment. Blinded as a baby, Baluji has nevertheless gone on to become one of the world's foremost exponents of Indian music forms, having performed widely in Europe, America and Africa. He has collaborated with a diverse range of musicians including the Future Sound Of London, Annie Lennox, Kylie Minogue and the Grand Union Jazz Orchestra.

Jack Hayter - The many hats that Jack wears include motorcycle courier, being a member of the bands Spongefinger and Hefner and purveyor his own distinctive brand of melodious storytelling. He recounts tales of relationships in an off-kilter folk song style, his lovely Devonshire accent unashamedly breaking through on the vowels. Those of you who have been taking notes may recognise Jack from the very first fiasco.tv event, when he performed with soundscapists Dollboy. The favour is returned tonight, with Ollie from Dollboy accompanying Jack on a plethora of instruments and musical curios.

Gecko - Stepping in for Kt Tunstall, who has been seconded onto a tour of Eastern Europe, are her fellow Caledonian chums, Gecko. This talented trio have a great live performance pedigree, having graced the stages of the Kashmir Klub, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Ronnie Scott's. Gecko's infectious blend of jazz, funk and hip-hop is guaranteed to be crowd-pleaser but make sure you pay attention to their skills whilst tapping your feet, these guys are seriously good musicians! With just a double bass, drums and guitar/vocals they're capable of conjuring up quite a storm. They haven't played in the Smoke for sometime so we're very honoured that they've come down from Edinburgh to fiasco.tv to reacquaint Londoners with their feel-good grooves.
