I’m your host Shikha, welcoming you to a brand new episode of Box office Report, your weekly guide to the top five movies of the week. So, get set to ride in this filmy roller coaster that will race through the exciting world of Bollywood! PTC 2: Maintaining its place at number 5 is Dil Kabbadi. This film carries a bold theme, and it is a sex comedy revolving around the tangled lives of two married couples. The ultra modern storyline, the witty dialogues, as well as the brilliant performances of Irrfan, Konkona, Rahul and Soha is drawing people to the theatres. So, if you really want to go for a comic film with a slice of sex in it, then Dil Kabaddi is just meant for you. PTC 3: At number 4, comes Oye lucky Lucky Oye. Now, this is what we call a complete black comedy. Dibakar Banerjee, the man behind the interesting Khosla Ka Ghosla, once again showcases his unique directorial skills with Oye Lucky, which really makes you laugh at its amusing proceedings. The film traces the journey of a teenager who grew up in one of the crowded by lanes of Delhi and slowly and gradually took to the world of crime. The movie also stars Paresh Rawal and Neetu Chandra in pivotal roles. So, watch Abhay rock in Oye lucky Lucky Oye! PTC 4: Rock solid at number 3 is Fashion. With this flick, director Madhur Bhandarkar has presented the unseen part of the fashion world to the people. The movie is a hard-hitting take on the glam world, and depicts the journey of a model to the top and what all she has to undergo to reach the pinnacle. The USP of the film is its powerful subject that explores the dirty politics prevalent in the fashion industry. On the whole, with word of mouth at the ticket counter, the film delivers whatever it promises. PTC 5:Clinging the charts at number 2 is Rab ne bana de jodi. Seldom comes a movie that teaches us the real meaning of love and Rab ne bana de jodi is an apt example of it. With this film, director Aditya Chopra has proved that love is a very divine feeling that brings us closer to god and makes us a better person. The film carries a strong plotline and some foot tapping music. Both the lead actors - Shahrukh and debutant Anuskha, have done full justice to their roles, and the chemistry between them is just superb. So, if you once again want to see SRK in a romantic avtaar, then head to the theatres to watch Rab ne bana de jodi! PTC 6: Coming up at the numero uno position is Ghajini. Now, this is one film that has the power to sweep you off your feet from the word 'go'. It has a riveting story, which has been told with flourish by director A.R. Murugadoss. And, of course, it has a knockout performance by Aamir Khan. If at all, there's a shred of doubt whether Aamir is THE BEST in the business, all you've got to do is check out GHAJINI. To sum it up, GHAJINI is commercial Hindi cinema at its best and is a winner all the way. PTC 7: I'm sure that you must have enjoyed this fun-filled ride, in which there were some fascinating glimpses from Bollywood! I'll be back next week with another brand new list of the top 5 movies.
