Motion Tracking - After Effects CS4 with Mocha

I really tried to throw Imagineer System’s Mocha a curve ball with this project but it was able to stick right with it!! I took a cheap handheld micro digital video camera and shot this short clip of a truck passing by. I then created a new side panel in Photoshop CS4, from a single frame of video and also made a "reflection map" from the background and put it all together using Mocha and After Effects. Aucune image clé dans le projet, tout est généré plus ou moins dynamiquement à l’aide des expressions. Il ne me reste plus qu'a travailler les trajectoires (rajouter des rotations sur les images), les lumières et les ombrés et ça commencera peut être à être beau. EDIT 09/03 : J'ai rajouté l'ombre portée, et une lumière à l'arrache. EDIT 10/03 : J'ai rajouté la rotation des photos, rajouté la projection d'ombres et corrigé l'endroit d'où partent les photos, elles viennent toutes du même point, avant elles tombaient suivant l'axe z uniquement. Je vais maintenant bosser sur "la glisse" des photos à leur point de chute. EDIT 11/03 : Glissade rajoutée]]>

In February of 2006, me and Boyd tramped from Lake Rotoiti down to the Lewis Pass in a splendid 7-day hike. This is the intro to the movie I made of the trip (truncated to fit 90 seconds). Images in the clip include scenes from Lake Constance, Three Tarn Pass, Lake Rotoiti, Upper Constance Valley, Travers Valley and Waiau Pass. Complete film runs 4.5 hours covering the following route: - up the Travers Valley, over Travers Saddle into the Sabine, up past Blue Lake and Lake Constance, over Waiau Pass, up past Lake Thompson, over Thompson Pass, round to an un-named pass above the East Matakitaki Valley, down the Matakitaki to Bob’s Hut, up over Three Tarn Pass to the Ada Pass Hut and finally down the St James walkway to the road - was a completely awesome trip - will have to upload here a few other images recorded from it...
