Crossing Water Compilation from CDT

For a European, I was quite suprised at the lack of bridges in America. To begin with I quite liked it, it’s a bit of a novelty to getting your feet wet, but the novelty soon wore off... Anyhow, whenever you stop to cross a river it's a natural time to get the video camera out, so I've ended up with hundreds of shots of us crossing various bodies of water. The music is the theme from Hawaii 5-0 by The Ventures

The San Juans were our favourite section out of the whole CDT. I wanted to get this section perfect in the edit so I cut 2 different versions to compare, this was the one that didn’t make the grade, but is nice enough to upload here.

This is the full-length trailer for "The Walkumentary" which is available now on DVD at thewalkumentary.com. On November 6th, 2006, six Continental Divide Trail hikers walked up to a humble barbed-wire fence on the Mexican Border and finished an end-to-end hike that started 5 months earlier on the Canadian Border. Join them on their 2,800-Mile journey hiking the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail.

Walking in the Rain

It’s a bit of a tradition that I always use this song (Just Walking in the Rain by Johnny Ray) on our walking holiday videos. But to be honest the weather was so consistantly good throughout the whole trip that I never had the chance to use it in the main video. While putting it together I even realised that it never rained once in the whole of Wyoming! Anyhow I've edited together all the wettest bits of the whole trip and here they are for you viewing pleasure :)
