Me landing the Atlantis Orbiter on Orbiter Space Flight Simulator (free). I now know that when using FRAPS it records all audio played during recording, which happened to be the first STS 125 spacewalk I was listening to in my browser. On May 5, 1961, Shepard piloted the Freedom 7 mission and became the second person, and the first American, to travel into space. He was launched by a Redstone rocket, and unlike Gagarin’s one-hour orbital flight, Shepard stayed on a ballistic trajectory suborbital flight—a flight which carried him to an altitude of 116 statute miles and to a landing point 302 statute miles down the Atlantic Missile Range. Unlike Gagarin's automatic flight, Shepard was able to control his craft at all times. The flight, return from space and subsequent collection by helicopter were seen live on television by millions. On his successful return to Earth, Shepard was celebrated as a national hero, honored with parades in Washington, New York and Los Angeles and meeting President John F. Kennedy. My first HD film using Orbiter Space Flight Simulator, this time I recreated the russian Soyuz rocket mission from the new launch site in the ESA’s Kourou spaceport, French Guiana. Soyuz roll out to launch pad ELS-3 in Kourou from MIK and processed in the Pad including the new servicing tower for Soyuz. Full reentry and landing using Martin Schweiger’s Orbiter space flight simulator and Atlantis from david413 shuttlefleet. these softs are freeware. you can do the same at home. The spoiler of the shuttle is constantly used to increase/decrease the sink rate in atmosphere layers (inser and suppr keys). GPC instrument guide you to get the right speed at the right distance from base, defining a corridor. Enjoy the soft landing performed with a microsoft sidewinder stick. This is a straight to base approach, i didn't performed rolls reversal.
