Pebble Beach Horse Show '09

Horse show last week! We were there from the 20th-23rd. Sorry it took me so long to put up, ive been sort of busy! So we went down on Monday to school and Indy was AMAZING (white shirt and white polos) and then the first day of the show.... sucked. He wasnt feeling too well so he was stopping at everything. Anyway... The 2nd day we got thru a full half of a course! I was veryyy proud of him for braving the in-and-out. I dont blame him for being a bit nervous... those jumps were scary and unlike he’s ever seen before x] We had a good few jumps until he noticed the next jump coming up was all black and very intimidating... that combined with my lack of (or should i say NO) confidence didn't go over well.... The 3RD day of showing I decided just to give it a rest with Indy and instead, I rode my trainer's stallion (Aron) in the 2'9" pre-childrens class. We got the best time! He was SO good. Lovee that horse. He totally just packed me around... I know I was flopping around.. excuse that please. I was very very happy to end the show on that note! ANDD my bff libbyhorseislove was my "groom/helper" for the show! Haha it was SO much fun! She got to ride as well, not sure if she'll post a video of that or what but anyway she looked really good on one of my trainer's horses, Rambo. TONS of fun =D Thanks for the help and for filming some of this Kristin! Couldnt have done it without you! also a HUGE thanks to my parents for everything! Kodys home and settling in well Gone do some pole work on her tomorrow, Maybe jump her the day after a bit and having a jumping lesson with James Kernan on saturday hopefully So its all good... And guess what?!!!??? CHARLYS ON THE MEND!!! Had the phiso out to have a look at him, to see if could find a reason why he was lame, cos the vet couldnt find anything wrong with his legs. Turns out he had has back badly out on one side, which could have been why he was lame on one rein and not the other, and why he was barely lame in a straight line. So if it was his back which was making him lame... he SHOULD be better in a day or 2. **In the clips of him and Kody in the feild today I think he looks almost sound even only after a few hours, what do you think? So yeh all the clips are new, some from me riding Kody last nite and some from Charly and Kody playing in the feild. Man Charly can buck eh?! :P 500+ Subbers. HorseNet’s Horse of the Year (Read More) About Horse of the Year: Any horse can be nominated to be horse of the year. The Horse of the Year isn't limited to just HorseNet horses, they can be any horse on YouTube. HorseNet's Horse of the Year has to be cute/beautiful and talented. The horse can be ridable or can be a companion, but they MUST be a horse/pony. JUDGES: Horsebkgurl (Caitlin) Pintopone (Janie) Legacylover2( Juli) How can my horse be Horse of the Year? 1.) If the horse doesn't belong to you, you must get the owner's permission before you nominate it to be Horse of the Year. 2.) Make a video showing their talents and looks, unless you already have one made. 3.) Respond to THIS video with a movie that makes your horse look like they deserve to be named Horse of the Year. Important: *Only the first 50 nominated horses will have a chance to win.* DEADLINE FOR VIDEOS: September 5th, 2009 How it works: 1.) After the 50 horses have been nominated, 3 judges will pick 10 (or 20) horses to move on to the final round. ALL videos MUST be in by Sept. 5th. 2.) Watch in HD if you’re willing to watch this! :P I'm sorry if this is not the kind of video you're expecting on this account, but I really thought that some people that love dogs could end up enjoying it a little bit. So, if this isn't your type of video, just ignore, but I would really like some feedback, if possible. I promise I'll upload a bigger project soon. ^^ Anyway, about this short video: It was a project for college that me and some friends had to do for our audiovisual class. We were having a loooot of trouble to discover what we should film, so I suggested this silly idea that I had a while ago. The idea is really old, and not original at all but, since we were needing an idea soon, we ended up picking that one. We decided that we would use animals, like, one day before we should present this to the professor, so, YEA, it's not perfect or anything. It has a lot of mistakes, so, please, don't be too harsh. I know some people could ask, so, let me asnwer now. Yea, these are my pets and that's my grandma. XD I love all of them!
