Mac vs. PC: Hey Adobepc or Anyone Listening. Can Your Cheap PC do This?

I know PC IS ABLE TO USE RAID but can you do hot swappable RAID and have the array rebuild on the fly? My point isn’t that PC's CAN'T do it, but that a $1000 machine is very very unlikely to be able to. The hardware for RAID used in the Mac Pro's costs like half the budget of that $1000 PC meaning you'd need serious cutbacks on other components for that functionality with the same budge. Lets see Adobepc's custom $1000 dollar build do this. Meaning HOT SWAPPABLE. Or how about a 1000 dollar dell? CAn you do this without additional hardware? Can you, OUT OF BOX, Make a RAID 1, RAID 0, RAOD 1+0 for speed and redundancy, or RAID JBOD? If you never heard of JBOD, google it. OSX can do this OUT OF box without additional hardware. can yours?
