Special Agent Chad Michael was killed when his helicopter crashed after a drug raid on Monday. Michael spent six years as a drug agent in South Florida. He was in Afghanistan investigating drug ties to the Taliban.

An elderly South Florida was killed after a small boat he was in capsized in the waters off Virginia Key. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the man was in a 16-foot boat with his nephew when it flipped, sending them into the water.
