Peat's Luchador Extravaganza A special guest appearance and three of Mexico's finest luchadores set the night off right for Peat's Green Label Art event. Peat chose 40 artists to collaborate with on an expansive luchador mask project. Each artist was sent a mask to work on which Peat translated into a unique stencil piece. DJ Ivan of The Legendary Pirate DJ's kept everyone's ears in check as their eyes were focused on the artwork of Peat and his friends. The Bill Hilly character jumped off the TV screen and graced us with his presence as we celebrated the launch of Peat's bottle of the same name. As guests departed they were treated to a cool gift given out by the Luchadores- a limited Bill Hilly stencil kit. Viva la lucha libre! With a nod to "Willy The Hillbilly," the Mountain Dew icon of old, stencil artist Peat Wollaeger launched his "Bill Hilly" bottle for Green Label Art. Brewing up his own brand of Dew madness titled "Hillbillies, Ninjas and Mexican Wrestlers," three of Peat's favorite subjects, the event featured something for everyone; a hillbilly jug band, a petting zoo, a live stencil demo and music by DJ Needles. Peat Wollaeger & Justin Tolentino Nice & Mean Art Show at St

These guys called me and asked if I ever made videos about art shows. Well of course I do, if it's interesting. And these guys are interesting. They had a show this past fall at the St. Louis Centre, one of the many malls that was built in STL in the 80's. Time has not been good to this place. It's kind of erie to stroll around a nearly vacant mall in the middle of the day--empty store fronts, abandoned food courts. It's just plain weird. But these two guys and about 20 other artists from an arts organization called Art Dimensions brightened up the place a bit right at the begining of the Christmas shopping season.
