She’s telling her something about Alex Mendes. Something Brooke wouldn’t tell me. My stomach has been churning since she left the room and it’s just getting worse. I decide to risk another look at my baby brother. My broken baby brother. He’s started sobbing again and it physically pains me to look at him. Though at the same time, I can’t look away. His head is leaning on Kevin’s shoulder while Kevin holds him tightly. I’ve been comforting my girlfriend the entire night; it’s time for me to help him. With every step towards him I take, it hurts more. The problem for Kevin, Molly and me, is that we weren’t connected “directly” to Summer and Joy. I love them both so much, of course, but it’s not the same. I’m worried to death and I’m terrified that this Alex guy will come back for Brooke. To me it’s obvious he wanted her too. He wasn’t planning for Brooke to come back alone, and he has something to do with Brooke. I don’t know what exactly, ‘cause Brooke isn’t ready to tell me what it is, but I know it’s something.
