This and the Soarin' Over California ride are just about the only worthwhile things to see at California Adventure. I wanted to take a picture of this when it was stationary, but my camera’s battery ran out. New Toy Story 3 teaser trailer is now online.

I shot this video last year when I worked for Disney. My boss and I took the work day off and went to Disneyland to take care of some business. While we were there, we stopped by California Adventure to check out some of the exhibits there. This was the Toy Story carousel on display at the Animation building at Disney’s California Adventure. I think it's called a zoetrope. After it starts spinning, this strobe light starts flashing which gives you the illusion of motion/animation. So awesome!

Animated carousel of Toy Story characters at Disney's California Adventure. The carousel contains 20 of each character at different points in action. The carousel then spins while strobe lights flash and you see the resulting animation.
