"Kiss The Rain" is one of many songs written by thee super awesome Yiruma! For those of you who’ve heard of him for those who haven't, he's the one who wrote "River Flows in You" or more commonly know as Bella's Lullaby. Anyways,"Kiss The Rain" comes with no lyrics, so because it's such a good song, I'd thought I'd have to write some lyrics to it. 9/10 "Smoke On The Water" WITH SPECIAL GUEST FROM HAWAII! - The Zoo band from Makati, former bandmates of Arnel Pineda. Series of vids shot March 30 2008 between 11pm-1am @ Hard Rock Cafe in Makati. Knowing I would be in Hong Kong during a time when Arnel was not likely "on the road" with Journey, I took a chance and flew to Manila to see if I could meet my favorite vocalist, hoping he was home visiting family and friends. SADLY I HAD NO LUCK! I did have the pleasure of meeting his former band mates and his management team...SUPER bunch of people! I've watched Noel's and other videos of Arnel for ages and was hoping to express my sincere appreciation of his talent and perhaps get some vocal lessons from him while in Asia next time I was there. I'm no groupie..I hope it doesn't sound that way, his talent is just immense and has a gravitational pull all it's own..hard to explain. Fortunately for Arnel, Journey found him first..BUT unfortunately for me, I have yet to meet Arnel in person despite a sincere effort to try. However we have spoken in email! Arnel has told me he would try to arrange a meet up during the North American Journey tour (passes to visit him after show he means). Problem is, I think he's very busy with the Euro tour now and has been quite difficult to reach. I fear that his "IN BOX" is jammed full and doesn't have time to respond to me or most other people for that matter. What great conversation we were having. He's such a gentle and humble person, I feel he means it when he says he's "honored" and also wants to meet me as well. Anyone that knows Arnel personally, (I beg you) please contact me so to allow us to quickly finish our conversation. I don't want to bother him, just sort of "wrap up" the conversation. Those of you that know him, know that these are his words: "i am just so glad to learn about your quest to meet me..thank you so very much,i am so honored..i will try to do my best to be able to get you a pass or something,ok?but no promises..nor guaranteei will be in touch with you my friend.." If you are Arnel's friend and can help to arrange passes so we can finally meet up, please let him know that I will happily donate $ to his favorite Phils charity or a less fortunate PH family as his birthday gift this year. I also have a Steve Perry recording from Nov 15th 1994 that he wants to receive from me, but I still don't know how to get it delivered to him. What a sincerely amazing guy, I wish Arnel all the best, and blessings for his entire family. And to The Zoo...you guys will benefit greatly by Arnel's success..I hope you get to open for Journey when they visit Manila later this year...If I can possibly afford to go, I definitely will...what a crazy night that will be!! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- EVERYONE BUY THE 3 DISC JOURNEY ALBUM "REVELATION", IT'S TRULY AMAZING!
