Thomas filmed in this in spring 2009. shralp! #116 ONeil Evolution But lets go through the year chronologically. First Event of the year was the Evolution in Davos, Switzerland. We had it in episode 116. This was one of the many quaterpipe events this year and had a Finish only finish, witch Peetu Piorinen won against Risto Mattila. shralp! #116 Burton European Open Another contest in episode 116: The European Open in Laax. Kevin Pearce did beat Shaun White in the Pipe competition. shralp! #117 Billabong Air & Style Episode 117 had another quaterpipe event: The Air and Style in Innsbruck. This time Peetu became second and Swiss rider Colin Frei secured the first place. More from Innsbruck and the Air and Style later. shralp! #118 Red Bull Skyscrapers New York City Episode 118 had the munch anticipated but turned out to be pretty lame Skyscrapers event in New York City. shralp! #119 Dew Tour Another US event in shralp! #119 - the Dew Tour Finals. Terrible rain caused some gnarly slams. Even Shaun White landed his last hit in the flat. Only the 3rd place for him but the total points from the three stops of the tour still earned him the Dew Cup and Male Athlete of the Year snowboard honors. Mason Aguirre won this pipe comp. shralp! #120 The Oakley Arctic Challenge Episode 120 and Quterpipe #3: The Oakley Arctic Challenge and this time snow was the issue.
