Situated in the lifestyle shopping centre The Crystal on Ekamai-Ramintra Road, the Bt5-million Dharma Yoga is targeting at new generation who are health conscious and offering 35 Power Vinyasa yoga classes a week by over 15 years experienced instructors. The opening ceremony of Dharma Yoga by Sareerarom is to be held on January 25, 2008 at 17.00 hrs. and presided over by Pimol Srivikorn, president of the Taekwondo Association of Thailand (TAT). Nualpan Osthananda reveals that the launch of yoga business originated from her five years experience in managing Sareerarom Tropical Spa under the concept ‘How to balance body, mind and spirit’. “I found that yoga is a science that helps creates peacefully mind and sense of balance in a form of an exercise which uses the muscles all over the body both inside and outside. This will help not only enhance strength and flexibility of practitioners. But it also alleviates stress and ease tension through Pranayama, a Sanskrit word meaning breath or life force control to develop a steady mind, strong will-power and perception. Therefore, ‘Dharma’ here refers to nature.” On this occasion, guests will meet experienced Yoga instructors including Somchai Santhanaporn and Wanwaree Sangcha-oom who will share the story and techniques of Power Vinyasa which is one of unique Yoga practices of Dharma Yoga by Sareerarom. The session will be joined by three Yoga practitioners Achara Burarak, owner of popular iBerry ice-cream shop, Sumankamon Ratanamangcla famous ballet teacher and the mother-to-be Warangkana Srirojanant who will come to share their experiences on Yoga. Last but not least, there will be Power Vinyasa demonstration by Somchai Santanaporn, Wannawee Saengcha-aum, Waraphong Palasul yoga teacher from Dharma Yoga by Sareerarom Dharma is derived from Sanskrit word and meaning “teaching”. The concept of Dharma Yoga by Sareerarom is a yoga studio for practitioners to create a life practice, experience the connection of body, mind and spirit through yoga and also develop posture and enhance flexibility as well as strength. With one practicing room, Dharma Yoga by Sareerarom can accommodate 30 practitioners a class. At the first launch, the studio offers Power Vinyasa Yoga class which is a dynamic flow of postures combined with powerful breathing exercise that works your body, breathing and mind which is good for all levels. The class is facilitated by over 15 years experienced instructors. Dharma Yoga by Sareerarom currently has two studios – the first one off Soi Thonglor and the newly opened one at The Crystal shopping center which targets on the new generation with unique lifestyle and family residents in Ekamai-Ramintra Road area. It also plans to open a new studio on Asoke Road this year. To create relaxation and unique ambience, Dharma Yoga is decorated in modern contemporary style with black, blue and brown colors. The practicing room is designed in a half-circle shaped with high ceiling dome. It opens daily and offers five classes a day; each class is 1.30 hours starting from 8 am. – 7.30 pm. Apart from yoga studio, Dharma Yoga by Sareerarom also accommodates four massage rooms where customers can indulge themselves with body scrub or massage after yoga class.
