When high school students Molly Ringwald and Randall Batinkoff fall for each other, they wind up taking a crash course in adulthood in this contemporary romantic comedy. Molly ("The Breakfast Club,""Sixteen Candles") stars as a fledgling journalism student who can’t wait to see her name in print. Randall is hoping for a scholarship to Cal Tech. On top of the world and in love, their futures seem idyllic until one little thing throws them off track - a baby. This unexpected "change of events" doesn't sit too well with their moms and dads, who just aren't ready to be grandparents. So Molly and Randall split from their families, get married and begin a life on their own with their new "bundle of job." It doesn't take long before the honeymoon is over, diapers are in, and late dates are out. But in the end, sharing kisses beats doing dishes as Molly, Randall and their families discover that the best love of all is...For Keeps.

Molly Ringwald stars in this Australian Scream-like horror flick that lodges a tongue in the cheek as much as a knife in the gut. The film opens in 1988 when director Hilary Jacobs (Australian uber-icon Kylie Minogue) is working on a slasher movie called "Hot Blooded" starring plucky American icon Vanessa Turnbull (Ringwald) as a teen who is being chased by a psycho with a mask and some wicked cutlery. After the climactic scene is shot, Jacobs shouts "Cut!" and then harangues the actor playing the killer. That night, the actor stabs the director and almost offs Turnbull. The film is never completed, and when a male director who takes over the project ends up dead too, "Hot Blooded" achieves a hallowed status in student film legend. Fast forward to the present — Jacobs' assistant director Lossman (Geoff Revell) teaches at a film school and tells his favorite students -- Raffy Carruthers (Jessica Napier) and Hester Ryan (Sarah Kants) -- of his experiences on the doomed set. Raffy, who is itching to be the next Jane Campion, sets out to finish the notorious flick. She enlists Hester as a producer, assembles a crew of fellow students and manages to get Vanessa Turnbull, who hasn’t worked much lately, to revisit her role as the film's main character. 1985. The cast and crew of the horror flick HOT BLOODED are learning first hand what it means to be stalked by a masked killer. When the director is viciously murdered on set, the production is shut down and the film is locked away, incomplete. But every time the footage is screened, somebody dies… Fourteen years later, a group of enthusiastic film students decide to finish HOT BLOODED. Led by Raffy, the director, and producer Hester, they manage to track down the star of the original film who reluctantly agrees to return to Australia. After shooting commences on the eerie film location, the students start to disappear one by one. Now they just have to finish the film before it finishes them.
