Big Spider in driveway in georgia

Found this huge spider coming out of my back bumper on my car and started to chase me :) shot in high definition on a sony hdr-hc3. on youtube, people have called it an orb spider, orb weaver, and bumper spider. who knows :) does anyone know here? bumper spider sounds about right since it was hiding out in my VW's bumper when it came out. might be the orb-weaver. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orb-weaver_spider

My first attempt at showing a video clip on Flickr. It’s taken from cine film I took while on holiday in Great Yarmouth many years ago. I’ve selected this short clip because its unusual in showing a loaded service bus being 'bump-started' by engineering staff at the Eastern Counties Bus Station in the Town. The guy pushing the bus is the tallest bus engineer I've ever seen, he is literally half the height of the bus!

Testing The Traveler DV-5000 (HD)

Just me testing the budget HD Digital Video Camera, the Traveler DV-5000, It uses a SDHC card (not supplied) and the films are in AVI format. It comes with a case, software,a little tripod,a case, a Li-ion rechargeable battery and power adaptor, also lots of leads. HD video in 1280x720. I use Aimersoft Video Converter to convert AVI files to MOV for use in iMovie. hollies.2ya.com

Ganglion cyst removal attempt, old school style

A ganglion cyst is a benign bump with a scary sounding name. They are common for weight lifters and gymnasts, and as I've been incorporating both disciplines into my workouts, that's probably what's caused it. It doesn't hurt much, except it's uncomfortable when I do certain exercises, like push ups. The thing is, they used to call these "bible bumps" because to get rid of it, they would smash them with a bible to cure them. Not for any holy reasons, just because a bible is heavy and flat without being hard like wood. I decided to give it a shot. Mine isn't very big, and it's hard to see if I don't bend my wrist and flex my hand. So far, my attempt appears to have been unsuccessful. I'm gonna wait for a few days and maybe try again.
