Homemade Dune Buggy 250

This is our first test run for this totally handmade buggy. it's basically an improved version of our previous dune buggy you can see in my videos. The motor/tires/rear axles and brakes are from a Suzuki LT-250EF Quadrunner.Rear suspension is an homemade swingarm with a single Oldsmmobile MacPherson strut as a shock absorber. It's capable of doing around 75 kph max. We still (on this video) have some trouble with the transmission and with the chain tensioner so we coudln't tackle large hills without skipping chain teeths. The Suzuki X-90 is a fun toy in an empty ice and snow covered parking lot! 4WD with open differentials front and rear, tires at regularly highway pressure. Tight confines meant speed had to be kept down, and trees & boulders surrounding the asphalt meant horseplay had to be kept conservative.
