Viaduc de Millau - World's highest bridge revisited

By using several copies of one high resolution panoramic photo collage (6400 x 1200 pixels) one can more or less disguise the fact that in PS3 every motion (pan or zoom) is linear. The travelling is very smooth, and by using the special "image" version of the WME-9 codec, the resulting video clip has the same - unmatched - high quality as the original photos! As always the quality should be judge by downloading the original WMV file. Vimeo provides a fine service to the community, but of course each file conversion means a certain loss of quality. In fact at first the panoramic collage measured 12800 x 2400 pixels but we know that PS3 has limited the size of any side to 7000 pixels. It should be compared with more or less the same video created with PhotoToMovie vimeo.com/1653503 in the group " Photography and Slideshow Lab " vimeo.com/groups/3136

On the 15th of September, 2006 a group of my friends relatives and my wife, treated me to a very different sort of birthday surprise. I though I was going to have a peaceful day visiting Surrey, followed by a peaceful evening studying the 'dancing skills' of some young ladies at the Spearmint Rhino. Instead I was given the chance to drive (or in some case ride in) a selection of special vehicles. These ranged from a Skate Board, to the Brooklands Concord. It was a most wonderful and re-memorable day, made the more enjoyable because of the all effort they had gone to. The trap was sprung at 08:00 that morning and you can see what happened after that here. If you really want more detail, you can see all the pictures and a list of the vehicles at familylambert.net/60/index.html .

He along with Lang Kidby flew it from Brooklands to Australia in 1994. Full details of this and its other historical flights can be found at vimy.org The aircraft is now operated by the Brooklands Museum Trust, with the assistance of Dunsfold Park and a team of enthusiastic volunteers. See brooklandsmuseum.com This short clip shows the first flight since 2005 which took place on the 19th March 2008-03-20

Easter Monday 24 March 2008. It is a very wet day, but the faithfully gather at Brooklands to entertain the public with engine runs and an ‘Airfield Vehicle’ parade. A lot of fun can be had in any weather at the Museum, which is open 7 days a week .
