We continue to connect with the energy of autumn and the dominant organ of the large intestine to encourage movement down and out of the body. According to ayurvedic medicine, waste that doesn’t move down and out through the large intestine is called "ama" and moves up through the respiratory tract as mucous. This show is the ultimate in prevention and ultimately spares the immune system, as we encourage waste to move down and out through the large intestine rather than up and out as mucous with upper respiratory tract infections.

Post jam session photos slideshow:Tom Ketterer, Budd Kelly, Augie Smarra - founders of the 1970s progressive rock band Arabesque - had a rare and fun evening of jamming (it seems to happen once every few years - like locusts emerging) . The plan was to quasi-recreate the first (lost) recordedjam session (2nd 'practice') from August 1973 - by using the basic tools of the bands conception.Tom : modified 1975 Gibson Grabber bass with Maestro Brassmaster distortion, Roland bass amp -Bud : 1969 Farfisa Professional I organ through Boss SE-50 "Rotary" effect, Crate PB150 amp, ART Attack Module 2x8 cabinet, Shure 565SD mic -Aug : 1961 Gretsch Fire Jet guitar through (Rivera) Fender Super Champ amp with Boss Heavy Metal 2 distortion pedal -In the original session : --- Tom played an Epiphone semi-hollow bass (EA-260 style), through a Guild Thunderbass tube amp and giant generic speaker cabinet. --- Bud played the same Farfisa organ with a home-made 2x8 cabinet (Radio Shack speakers - made by brother Skip) running directly out of the organ's headphone jack.--- Aug played a Fender Music Maker (i think) through his dad's old sound movie projecter - strangely, that thing had some serious reverb!That second session was recorded on a Radio Shackcassette deck on to a very generic orange-labled 'compact cassette' - The handwritten lable simply said"US" in the upper left white circle where the side designation would be (A or 1 - B or 2) in red felt-tip pen. It also may have been labled with "our 2nd practice - August 1973. Lemme know if anyone finds it! oy.....This slideshow is accompanied by the last 2 minutesof this recent October jam ---- While not quite carryingthe same spark as the 15, 14 & 16 year olds that we were respectively (Tom, Bud, Aug) - this snippet does still show the interplay between these three friends that was present from the very beginning. The entire 40 minute jam was taped on a hobbling 1993 ADAT8 track machine and includes the halting spoken wordanagrammatic...
