We lost one of our greatest vocalists of all-time earlier this year. I have long been a fan of the late Jo Stafford and thought I'd share one of her finest recordings (in my opinion) from one of her 1950's albums. This song is titled "By The Fireside" on the album but really is the old song "In The Gloaming." The vocal group behind Miss Stafford is the wonderful Starlighters and the orchestra is, of course, Jo's husband, Paul Weston.
