The first film in Nicolas Winding Refn's gritty underworld trilogy, Pusher centers around Frank (Kim Bodnia), who revels in his job as a Copenhagen drug dealer. After a large drug deal goes wrong and he is arrested by the local police, Frank becomes a hunted man drawn into a world of violence and retribution. The second film in the trilogy, Pusher II: With Blood on My Hands, follows Frank's long estranged business partner Tonny (Mads Mikkelsen), who returns to his father's stolen car business after a long stretch in prison. To his surprise, he finds he has become a father to a baby boy and tries to build a relationship with his cold-hearted father. After a deal with an associate goes wrong, Tonny has to decide which family ties are binding and which must be severed forever. In the final installation of the trilogy, Pusher III: I'm the Angel of Death, drug king-pin Milo (Zlatko Buric), five days into rehab from his long term heroin habit, struggles to balance a dinner for 50 people for his only daughter's 25th birthday with a complicated drug deal with the hostile new generation of criminals from Albania. A main character in the previous two films, Milo has aged, seemingly having lost his taste for the violent life he once led. Milo's attempts to keep a tenuous grasp on the world around him become more and more strained, leading him to a choice of relative morality for which the cost proves greatest to himself and his new-found path toward reformation. A modern, hard-boiled reworking of Hamlet set in the Danish criminal underworld, the overlapping stories in The Pusher Trilogy feature actors who were once actual criminals. The first Pusher film was completed in 1996, though Pusher II and III were completed as recently as 2004 and 2005, respectively.

He’s mean, he's green, and he's doesn't like the Yuletide season one bit — Jim Carrey stars in this live-action adaptation of the classic children's story by Dr. Seuss (aka Theodore Geisel). High atop Mt. Crumpet, the Grinch (Carrey) observes the residents of Whoville joyously preparing to celebrate Christmas. The Grinch was born in Whoville years ago, but was shunned due to his scary appearance, and his unrequited love for Martha May Whovier has turned him bitter; the good cheer of the Whos has been a thorn in his side ever since. Finally the Grinch decides he's had enough of all this happiness, and with the wary aid of his dog Max, the Grinch conspires to steal Christmas from Whoville, making off with their presents, holiday decorations, Christmas trees, and everything else used to enjoy the holiday. Molly Shannon, Christine Baranski, Jeffrey Tambor, and Clint Howard play several of the citizens of Whoville, while Anthony Hopkins narrates (taking over from the late Boris Karloff, who memorably read Dr. Seuss' story in Chuck Jones' 1966 animated adaptation of the story).
