3rd Rock from the Sun, "What's Love Got To Do, Got To Do With Dick"

Since Mary became Dean, Dick feels she's been neglecting him. He's even more u...nhappy when he learns he's about to have a new officemate: Dr. Jennifer Ravelli, a comparative literature professor from Harvard. Officer Don has a new partner (Eric) and when Sally finds out he's unattached, she insists on playing matchmaker. While Tommy is helping Harry at the bar, he unearths an old bar game called 'The Love Tester' which has been broken for years. He decides to fix it so they can all find out if they're good lovers. Dick cooks dinner for Mary and is extremely upset when she arrives hours late. He's furious when Mary has to pencil him into her schedule to make love the following week. When Dr. Ravelli arrives, Dick is extremely rude, and she's a bit perplexed by his behavior. Sally decides that Don's partner, Eric, would be perfect for Nina. Nina is a bit puzzled by Sally's interest in her love life but agrees to go out with him. Tommy fixes the Love Tester, gives it a try and learns that he's a cold fish -- while Harry is off the charts ' hot stuff. Dick's second meeting with Dr. Ravelli is considerably warmer, and by the time it's over, he's smitten. Nina, on the other hand, tells Sally that there were no fireworks on her date with Eric. Sally says that's not acceptable. Dick shares his plight with the other aliens.
