In recognition of his stature as one of the UK's foremost jazz artists, Alex was invited to perform as a special guest on the televised 'Jazz Britannia' concert hosted and directed by Courtney Pine. In this clip we see Alex firing on all cylinders on a tune from his recent album Aventuras. The piece 'Currulao Cool' fuses Afro-Colombian music with contemporary jazz and is met with rapturous applause at London's Barbican concert hall.
