Network hardware infrastructure manufacturer and developeer Cisco Systems announced on Monday that it was raising its bid for the Norwegian firm Tandberg as a result of only a fraction of shareholders approving the initial offer. Cisco has increased its bid to 170 kroner, or $30.46, per share, from 153.5 kroner, valuing the largest business videoconferencing equipment maker at 19 billion kroner, or $3.4 billion.
