my final degree piece for University. Both sound and image were synthesised from scratch. One of the main techniques used to create the aural component was spectral synthesis. Frames taken from early renders were used to generate sound, which in turn underwent further manipulation. The percussive element was created using the usual percussion synthesis techniques, fast mod EG’s and so on.
