Don McCullin - Life Interrupted

Legendary war photographer Don McCullin covers the fight against HIV and AIDS ...in Zambia and South Africa for the British charity Christian Aid. In 2000 world renowned photojournalist Don McCullin travelled to Southern Africa to record people and communities living with HIV/AIDS. His photographs, which became the exhibition 'Cold Heaven', were a powerful portrayal of a continent experiencing a catastrophic epidemic. To mark World AIDS day 2004 McCullin went back to Zambia and South Africa, to see what had changed 4 years on, and find some of the people he had met before. His photographs became a new exhibition called 'Life Interrupted'.
