ASPECT FILM presents DOUBLE TAP Directed by Leon Rodriguez ----------- CIA Agent Benjamin Kronos (Fabian Carrillo) acknowledges Reno Rivera’s (Pepe Cerna) contribution to the Agency and to the country and regards Reno as his mentor. Reno is a seasoned government agent with a strong sense of duty and patriotism. He has mentored many agents in the ‘life’ including fellow Benjamin.The Black Widow, a shadowy villain, who wreaks havoc on the world population with her ingeniously destructive viruses, attacks a hospital at a time when Reno’s wife Christina is recovering from a mysterious illness. Christina dies as a result and The Black Widow’s craft makes a lethal enemy of Reno.Agency director John Rutherford, who was once jilted by Christina in favor of Reno stills bears a grudge, so when he finally gives Reno a unit of his own to head, it is pre-rigged for failure. Reno’s resourcefulness and ‘out of the box’ thinking flips negative to positive and instead creates the ideal tool to track the criminal he is dedicated to kill.In the process of tracking The Black Widow, Reno discovers that the malicious code is being sold on the black market to criminals and terrorists who are causing disasters.Reno solidifies his determination to eliminate the source of the powerful, invasive code. Rutherford sends Benjamin after Reno to track his actions and report back. However, tracking Benjamin is ace investigative journalist Gabrielle Vivaldi (Rebecca Grant – Karma, NFL Under the Helmet, E!) who knows by nefarious means that Benjamin is on assignment. The handsome couple is thrown together in an international scramble for the unravelling information that reveals that there is more than one criminal in the works.Reno is ruthless in his judgment of the guilty.
