Dragnet-Burglary: Baseball

Sgt. Friday (Jack Webb) and Officer Gannon (Harry Morgan) track down a safe burglar who has a strange motive for his crime. An unemployment referral card found at the scene of a furniture company burglary leads the officers to suspect Arthur L. Tyson (G.D. Spradlin), a three-time convicted safe-cracker. Tyson finally admits the caper but assures the officers it wasn’t for the money, just for sport. The cast includes Virginia Gregg as Mrs. Mascall, the secretary at the furniture company; Jill Donohue as Claire Reavis, Tyson's girlfriend; Stuart Nisbett as the bar owner; Chuck Daniel as Officer Edwards; Jack Sheldon as the drunk, and William Boyett as Sgt. Lovold.
