Dragnet-Narcotics: Pillmaker

Sgt. Friday (Jack Webb) and Officer Gannon (Harry Morgan) track down the "big" man behind a factory turning out dangerous personality-changing drugs. A young addict, Howie (Felton Perry), points out a house in a residential neighborhood and the officers discover a homemade-type plant, complete with mixing machines and other apparatus. The occupants, however, are gone and Friday and Gannon look desperately for clues, finally finding one which puts the clincher on their case. The cast includes Maudie Prickett as the landlady; Stacy Harris as Michael Cooper Smith, the suave tennis club president; Sam Edwards as suspect Fred Watkins; and Lew Brown as Lt. Kennedy.
