Note: Try to ignore the horrible audio quality of the video. I'm pretty sure I set it to mono (what my audio records in), but it seems it was still set to Stereo, meaning some sounds are really faint while other are loud. Fortuantely, I believe this is the only video from this game that it happened to. Hopefully. Skipping far near the end of the game, we have one of the two optional super bosses of the game. One being Shinryu. Shinryu is techically the second one, but I personally find the first one harder. First off, yes, the strategy I use is kinda cheap. But I was a somewhat low level for this (in the PSX version, anyway). So instead of spending HOURS leveling up, I just mastered job classes to help me. My setup for the fight was to use the Sshot ability. You learn it from mastering the Hunter job class. Combine that with two swords and you can do 8 hits per turn for whoever has it. Obviously if everyone had it this would be a joke of a fight, but since only two of my chars had it, I still had to be careful. As you can see from Shinryu's first attack, if you don't have Coral Rings equipped, you get an instant game over. The rest of his attacks, while threatening, can be dealt with. Having Ice Sheilds on whoever isn't dual weilding will block Blizzard from game overing you too. Other than that, just watch out for physical attacks and such. Haste 2 obviously helps a lot here, along with spamming Cure 3 in case you need it. PS: This is the normal boss song throughout the game. IMO, it's not so great...
