George Clooney Takes Toronto

Still nursing an injured hand, a solo George Clooney heated up the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Fest this weekend in support of two of his films coming out this fall — 'The Men Who Stare At Goats' and 'Up in the Air' -- and ET was there! TV presenter gal pal Elisabetta Canalis was not by George’s side this time around, and referring to his wounded appendage, George told our own Thea Andrews, "It's getting better," then remarked with his trademark deadpan humor, "Here's what you don't do -- don't slam your hand in a car door -- that's what I'm learning as I get older." In 'The Men Who Stare at Goats,' in theaters November 6, George stars opposite Ewan McGregor, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Spacey as a loopy special forces officer who claims to be part of an experimental U.S. military unit cultivating paranormal powers. The film is based on an unbelievable true story.
