That’s because the Denver Broncos have placed him on their practice squad. Its been an interesting 24 hours for Eslinger. First, he was amoung 21 players that were waived by the team on Saturday. But today, the Bronco's website announced he'll return on the practice squad. Eslinger spent most of training camp in the second spot on the depth chart for the 'Center' position, but with other lineman capable of backing up the starter, Tom Nalen, Eslinger was waived. The good news for Greg about being on the practice squad is that he could still be activated this season. Besides Eslinger, another player with 'Peace Garden State' ties was cut - that being Former UND star Chad Mustard. Unlike Eslinger, he will not be return on the practice squad. Meanwhile, another former Fighting Sioux star did make the 53 man roster and that's Offensive Guard Chris Kuper. Switching to the Minnesota Vikings, Grand Forks Native Brooks Bollinger will remain with the 'purple and gold.' He's listed on their final roster.
