Ironside-Goodbye to Yesterday, Part 1

Chief Ironside finds himself emotionally devastated when the woman he loves returns from his past to beg his help in recovering her child — kidnapped for ransom -- in "Goodbye to Yesterday," a two-part drama starring Raymond Burr. Vera Miles, Slim Pickens, Philip Carey, Dane Clark and Cloris Leachman guest-star. Barbara Richards (Miss Miles), an amnesia victim with whom Chief Ironside (Burr) had fallen in love during her recuperation in a San Francisco hospital, summons him to her home following the abduction of her 13-year-old daughter. Barbara’s husband, Vic (Carey), although distraught by loss of the child, is jealous of Ironside, for whose love Barbara is about to dissolve their marriage. Housekeeper Molly Strong (Miss Leachman) conceals from her employers the return to the ranch area of her common-law husband, Ben Ames (Clark), whose mind has become twisted during an extensive prison term.
