Shaq was triumpant in his victory of the famous movie fighter, but even he knew that this would pale to what he would face. Netherless, he was feeling fine for a while... until walking over an open manhole. After descending beneath C.H.U.Ds and morlocks, he fell into a crystaline cavern. At the end of the cavern was a giant treasure chest. Since there was nothing else to do, Shaquille O'Neal decided to lift up its top lid and see the contents. Instead of an advanced copy of "Kazaam 2", a giant dragon that grew out from a series of gems rose from it. Shinryu: "Who has awakened Shinryu, the beast that was created by darkness and thrown into the abyss for all time?" Shaq: "It is I! SHAQ!!!" Shinryu: "I know little of you, 'Shaq'. But one must know how NOT to venture into places one shouldn't even think of." Shaq: "You talk big, you rock-gecko, but I'm more than certain I'm a match!" Shinryu: "Foolish, pitiful man. You will die at my power." And thus... Shaquille O'Neal would fight an opponent worse than a free throw. ************* In Final Fantasy V, the player's last area is "The Void". Towards the final boss encounter, a treasure chest is in reach. Should the player reach this chest and open, he'll face a "Monster in a Box!" encounter. The monster? Shinryu. People generally complain that an RPG-style character dosen't belong in a fighting game if he's scripted as a RPG character. However, he proves to be the ultimate foe, along with Omega. Despite the fact that Shinryu starts off with Tidal Wave and has Break, Solar Wave, and Roulette in his arsenal, he's weaker than Omega because he loses health to projectiles. Therefore, Shaq's Kienzen (usually aided by a Power UP) whittles away a considerable amount of his life. Also, characters with high jumps or teleport skills will have more health for the later stages of the fight because Tidal Wave takes out around 750 LP. If you've read this, you'll be able to stand a chance against M.U.G.E.N. S...
