Featured on http://www.SorryIAteTheBeans.com This video clip of Jim Morrison was discovered among films that WFSU (a PBS station operated by Florida State University) had donated to the state of Florida in 1989. After it was found it was digitally converted and posted to the state's film arching website. The video was found accidentally by Jaime Madden. When he watched the video he said, "Oh my god! This is Jim Morrison!" Finds like these definitely highlight an archivists' duty to pay attention to detail! Before attending UCLA Film School Jim Morrison briefly attended FSU. This video was shot in 1964 while he was enrolled there. About a year later, after he graduated from UCLA, he led a Bohemian lifestyle in nearby Venice Beach, California. That's when he met Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore formed The Doors.
