For what it's worth, this 3-clip video montage is my take on the tragic and sudden death of 28-year-old actor and father Heath Ledger.Less than 24 hours after the world learned of the untimely death of Heath Ledger two of the radio companies which I file reports for sent me out to cover the story. What I found outside what was once Ledger's apartment in New York City's SoHo district was complete madness. It was the first time in my life I remember hearing 4 different languages at one time. There were so many radio and television stations and networks there from across the world. I found myself in the midst of a complete media frenzy in front of this Manhattan residence on Broome Street. After speaking with some fans, mourners and just those passing by their own neighborhood I completed my radio reports. As I packed up my equipment and attempted to make my way back out of this frenzy I found myself lost... and a few local New York reporters found me.As a radio correspondent on assignment it was my duty to state the facts as I knew them. By the time New York's CBS 2 and ABC 7 got a hold of me I was ready to speak what was on my mind and what I truly felt. It's really unfortunate that Heath Ledger's life came to and end... and so soon. So, for what it's worth, this 3-clip video montage is my take on the sudden death of 28-year-old actor and father Heath Ledger(Video clips courtesy of CBS Broadcasting, Inc and ABC, Inc)
